Parent Education Classes Starting Fall 2008        Class Registration Form

Are you surprised at how difficult it sometimes is to be a parent or teacher?

Living and working with children can be harder than you ever imagined. Many parents and teachers feel out of control, worried, guilty and disappointed at their relationships with their children. We all try our best, but sometimes that just doesn't seem to be enough.

Where are the rewards of raising children?

Do you ever ask yourself, “Is that all there is?” Do you find yourself spending more time nagging and less time enjoying your children than you thought? Where's that sweet chubby-faced little infant you knew and loved?

It is possible to regain control and peace of mind. Even if your kids are disobedient, uncooperative or out of control now, you can build great relationships and teach them the skills they'll need when they are grown up.

With support and practical tools that work in the real world, you can win more cooperation from your children and cultivate happier families and classrooms. And you can have fun doing it!

Help is on the way

Since 1975, Family Education Center (FEC) has been providing parents and teachers with effective tools to build healthy, rewarding relationships so their children can grow up with what they need to thrive and succeed.

Our programs are based on the principles of psychiatrist Alfred Adler. He believed that you must have a balance of structure and choice in order to teach children long-term skills like responsibility, compassion, respect and decision-making. We show you exactly how to create that balance, and how to draw the best out of your child.

We offer classes where parents and teachers share their experiences with kids in a fun and safe atmosphere, and learn ways to teach children mutual respect, cooperation, and responsibility. We teach people how to enjoy their children.
